Fresh Blood, an engaging talent showcase for young people, striving to enhance the awareness of blood donation amongst the younger generation whilst providing a platform for the gifted members of the multicultural community to showcase their talents. It will consist of 3 Categories: Dance, Singing and Acoustics.

Event Mission

Student Events UK aim to provide an engaging talent showcase for young people, striving to enhance the awareness of blood donation amongst the younger generation whilst providing a platform for the gifted members of the multicultural community to showcase their talents. The primary aim of the event is to allow young people to showcase talent and the secondary aim is to create awareness of blood donation services.

Event Objectives

• Provide a stepping stone for young people into the creative industry and a channel for them to explore their career options
• Create opportunities for young people in the community to participate and develop their skills
• Increase awareness of blood donation by 80% amongst participants attending the event which will be measured through evaluation forms.
• Enthuse and inspire young people to believe in themselves
• Sign up 10 secondary schools/colleges with Blood Donation representatives, to enable future cooperation between both parties
• Engage 40 colleges and universities to participate in the FRESH BLOOD talent showcase and delegate their students to the auditions within London.
• Audition 200 students, willing to perform at the FRESH BLOOD talent showcase, prior to the event and shortlist 20 who will compete at the event.
